The Jumpcut Video Contest
For this month’s contest we’re teaming up with Jumpcut, makers of one of the neatest online video apps we’ve seen. We got the idea for this contest from Chad’s remix of our Inside Valleyschwag. The idea is simple: show us your favorite schwag and make a movie on Jumpcut.com–or remix someone else’s. Sign up, upload your clips, and cut them into something special. Then add them to the schwag group on jumpcut. It doesn’t matter if it’s 30 seconds or half an hour…just don’t be boring.
Here are some ideas for your video from the Jumpcut folks:
- Schwag and tell: show us the schwag you love
- Schwag Do’s and Don’ts
- Schwag fashion show
- Schwag Adventures: video a story using all items in the months schwag bag
- Schwagable places: shoot video of you and your schwag in the most amazing places.
We’ll be awarding special prizes to the top vote getters, of course. Join us at our Hoedown on July 14th (locally or remote) for the first awards. Specifics to be announced.
Finally, here’s the kickoff video from Jumpcut’s own Steve Weibel, which sets the silliness bar nice and high. (Note: since it’s from a sponsoring company it’s not an official entry in the contest).
