Carlos sends Valleyschwag a care package
Continuing on our theme of “Love, Valleyschwag Style,” here’s one of our favorite burlap re-use entries, captured on video as we opened it up.
Carlos’ letter reads in part:
“…it is an undeniable fact of man that everyone loves to get free stuff from corporations; and if it happens to be one that you love, you display it proudly and flaunt it. This little endeavor [Valleyschwag] is really what the community needs, community meaning all of us who read TechCrunch and Valleywag religiously to dish the dirt on the newest startups and wish upon stars some adventurous rich uncle of theirs (investment firms) will take a risk and allow the general, or enlightened public to bask in a sea of asynchronous javascript and estensible markup language and purdy little tags…
“In the same Tyvek envelope as this letter is in, you’ll find your burlap sack refilled with some schwag collected from the company at which I work and the companies I regularly meet with, and therefore, get random logo-ed items from…”

sorry i have nothing to gift.
….it’d be kinda cool if u guys distributed some schwag that you receive, then have the new owners post their own video/pictures.

On a totally unrelated note.. I got the goatse stickers today with the hand written note..
My wife wondered who was sending me a letter with a little heart on it.. she got a little jealous even….

No problem guys. I was glad to send a little something back to you kind folksas it was fun for me too. And, I think you get the award for most direct response to your fan-base ever (the YouTube videos, ect, ect.)

I finally received the package yesterday (living in France, that’s why) and was not disappointed a bit.

Nice to hear the schwag arrived in France now. I still didn’t get my package over here in Germany. But since some guys here in germany and over there in france got their’s I hope mine arrives on monday.

ok.. so maybe i phrased that awkwardly. you already send out schwag u guys get… i of course meant the schwag that is sent in by the subsrcribers. :/
